All sessions up and running after the Christmas break and a busy schedule of games against other clubs already planned for the year ahead. 6 new players joined us during the month and good to see some old faces make a reappearance after lengthy absences.
2017 off to a flying start
In this month’s issue, updates on a hectic start to the New Year, upcoming games against other clubs, membership, stats and awards.
Friday session – Cricket grounds
3 evening sessions during the month and 1 session cancelled due to an icy pitch. Attendance of 33 averaging 11 per session.
Monday session – Northgate
3 evening sessions during the month, no session on Monday 2/1/17 as a Bank Holiday, Attendance of 39 averaging 13 per session.
Wednesday session – Aylesham
This session will recommence when the weather improves. Further information will be circulated once dates confirmed.

Games against other clubs
Jan, our Fixtures Secretary, is lining up a varied schedule of games against other clubs which to date include:
Friendly against Bay City Strollers at Aylesham Leisure Centre on 15/2/17
Monday and Friday Night teams entered into the FA People’s Cup with first games scheduled for Sunday 26/2
Return friendly against Bay City Strollers, date in February to be confirmed
Bournemouth Charity Tournament on Monday 27/3
Bay City Tournament, date to be confirmed

If you haven’t been given a membership form yet please ask the above for one.
The membership fee will be paid to Canterbury City. This will contribute to our insurance cover and other benefits as part of our association with the FA affiliated club.
All sessions are building a growing group of regulars with a steady stream of new players. Since September ’16 we have held 44 sessions attracting 454 players, an average of 10 per session. Since the beginning of September we have welcomed 11 new players.
